Fishan
Fishan, also spelled as Fisha'n, is a village located in the Upper Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. It is situated in the Yarkhun Valley, a remote and mountainous region. The inhabitants of Fishan predominantly speak the Wakhi language, also known as Xikwor. The village is known for its traditional Wakhi culture and its stunning mountain scenery. Agriculture, particularly cultivating crops suitable for high-altitude climates and livestock raising, are the primary economic activities. Access to Fishan can be challenging due to the rough terrain and limited infrastructure in the Yarkhun Valley.
