Esselte

Esselte is a multinational company that manufactures and distributes office products, filing systems, and organizational tools. Founded in Sweden in 1913 as SLT (Svenska Låstillverknings Aktiebolaget), a manufacturer of locks, the company later expanded into office supplies. The name "Esselte" is derived from the initials of SLT.

Throughout the 20th century, Esselte grew through acquisitions and product development, becoming a leading global provider of office essentials. Their product range includes items such as lever arch files, ring binders, suspension files, paper punches, staplers, labels, and laminators. They are known for brands such as Leitz, Rapid, and Xyron.

In 2002, Esselte was acquired by Jostar, a US-based investment company. Subsequently, in 2017, Esselte was acquired by ACCO Brands Corporation. Though now a part of ACCO Brands, the Esselte brand continues to be used for various product lines.
