Chris White (saxophonist)
Chris White is a British saxophonist, composer, and arranger, best known for his work with the Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler.
White joined Dire Straits in 1985 and remained with the band until their disbandment in the mid-1990s, contributing to their final two studio albums, Brothers in Arms and On Every Street, as well as their live performances. His saxophone solos became a signature part of the band's sound during this period.

Beyond his performing career, White is also involved in music education, often conducting workshops and masterclasses.
