Edward Stephenson (cricketer)
Edward Stephenson (born 1869, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire in 1895.
Stephenson was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He made his debut for Derbyshire in the 1895 season in a match against Warwickshire when he scored a duck in both innings. He played three further matches in the season with a top score of 11 against Lancashire.
Stephenson was a right-handed batsman and played 4 innings in 4 first-class matches with an average of 3.00 and a top score of 11. He was a right-arm medium-fast bowler but did not bowl for Derbyshire.
