Edward Acton (cricketer)

Edward Acton (born 22 June 1989) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Acton played first-class cricket for Cambridge University Cricket Club from 2009 to 2011. He also played Minor Counties cricket for Shropshire from 2007 to 2011. He made his debut for Shropshire against Herefordshire in the Minor Counties Championship.

While at Cambridge, Acton also participated in the annual University Match against Oxford University at Lord's. He has primarily played as a bowler, contributing to the Cambridge attack.

After leaving Cambridge, Acton pursued a career outside of professional cricket.
