Cranbrook railway station (Devon)

Cranbrook railway station is a railway station serving the new town of Cranbrook, Devon, England. It is located on the West of England Main Line, approximately 8 miles (13 km) east of Exeter Central.

The station was opened on 15 December 2015 by the then Rail Minister Claire Perry. It was constructed as part of the New Stations Fund, aimed at improving transport links to new housing developments.

Cranbrook station is served by Great Western Railway services between Exeter St Davids and London Waterloo. The typical weekday service consists of one train per hour in each direction.

The station has two platforms, connected by a footbridge. There is a small car park and a bus interchange adjacent to the station. The station is unstaffed, with passengers required to purchase tickets from a ticket vending machine or online.

The station is seen as vital infrastructure for the growing town of Cranbrook and has helped improve connectivity to Exeter and beyond.
