Doug Cameron (engineer)

Doug Cameron is a Canadian engineer specializing in micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and nanotechnology. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada.

Cameron's research focuses on the design, fabrication, and characterization of micro and nanoscale devices for applications in areas such as biosensing, energy harvesting, and advanced materials. He has made contributions to the development of novel MEMS sensors and actuators, and has explored the use of nanomaterials in microfluidic systems. His work has been published in leading scientific journals and presented at international conferences.

Cameron received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta. He is a member of professional organizations such as the IEEE and the Canadian Microelectronics Corporation. He has also been involved in various outreach activities to promote science and engineering education.
