Don Beebe
Don Beebe (born December 18, 1964) is a former professional American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He is best known for his tenure with the Buffalo Bills, where he played from 1989 to 1995 and was a member of the team that reached four consecutive Super Bowls (Super Bowl XXV, XXVI, XXVII, and XXVIII).
Beebe was drafted by the Bills in the third round of the 1989 NFL Draft. Prior to his NFL career, he played college football at Chadron State College, a Division II school in Nebraska. His speed and determination made him a valuable asset to the Bills' "K-Gun" offense, led by quarterback Jim Kelly.
While with the Bills, Beebe caught 219 passes for 3,359 yards and 19 touchdowns. He is also remembered for his hustle and effort, most notably demonstrated in Super Bowl XXVII against the Dallas Cowboys where he chased down Leon Lett to prevent a touchdown after Lett had prematurely celebrated while running with the ball.
After his time with the Bills, Beebe played for the Carolina Panthers in 1996 and concluded his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers in 1997, winning Super Bowl XXXI with them. Following his playing career, Beebe has been involved in coaching and ministry. He established House of Speed, a training program for athletes focused on speed and agility.
