Michael Phelan (Gaelic footballer)

Michael Phelan is a former Gaelic footballer who played for the Laois county team in Ireland. He typically played in the half-back line. Phelan was a key member of the Laois team that won the Leinster Senior Football Championship in 2003, defeating Kildare in the final. He was known for his strong tackling and tenacious play.
