Do Not Disturb (TV series)
Do Not Disturb is an American sitcom television series that aired on Fox during the fall of 2008. The show revolves around the lives of the employees and residents of a high-end New York City hotel.
The series starred Jerry O'Connell as Neal, the hotel manager, and Niecy Nash as Rhonda, his executive assistant. Other regular cast members included Molly Stanton, Brando Eaton, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
Do Not Disturb was created by Abraham Higginbotham and DJ Nash. It was produced by Reveille Productions and 20th Century Fox Television.
The series premiered on September 10, 2008, but was quickly cancelled after only three episodes had aired due to low ratings and negative critical reception. Four additional episodes were produced but remained unaired in the United States. These unaired episodes were later shown in some international markets.
The show was known for its ensemble cast and its attempts at physical comedy and situational humor. However, critics generally found the writing to be weak and the characters to be uninspired.
