1993–94 2. Liga (Slovakia)
The 1993–94 2. Liga was the inaugural season of the second-highest level of football league competition in Slovakia following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. It was comprised of two geographically divided groups, Group East and Group West, each featuring a number of Slovak football clubs. The winners of each group earned promotion to the 1. Liga (Slovakia), the top tier of Slovak football, for the following season. Teams finishing in the lower positions of each group were relegated to lower divisions. The league provided a crucial stepping stone for clubs aiming to compete at the highest level of Slovak football after the country gained independence. Information regarding specific teams, final standings, and promotion/relegation outcomes can be found in historical football records and databases pertaining to Slovak football during that period.
