Dead of Summer (film)

Dead of Summer is incorrect. Dead of Summer is an American anthology series created by Edward Kitsis, Adam Horowitz, and Ian Goldberg for Freeform. It premiered on June 28, 2016, and concluded on August 30, 2016, after one season. The series is a horror-mystery set in the 1980s, focusing on a group of camp counselors at Camp Stillwater, a seemingly idyllic Midwestern summer camp with a dark and ancient secret.

Each episode unfolds the backstory of a different counselor while also advancing the central mystery involving a malevolent entity that haunts the camp. The series blends elements of slasher films, supernatural horror, and coming-of-age drama.

The main cast included Elizabeth Lail, Zelda Williams, Mark Indelicato, Alberto Frezza, Eli Goree, Ronen Rubinstein, Amber Coney, and Paulina Singer.
