Dawn Penn is a Jamaican reggae singer known primarily for her hit song "You Don't Love Me (No, No, No)."

Biography:

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Dawn Penn began her music career in the late 1960s, recording for producer Coxsone Dodd's Studio One label. During this period, she released a number of singles, including "No, No, No," an original version of what would later become her signature song. Her initial success was hampered by the male dominance within the reggae music scene at the time, and she subsequently took a break from performing.

Career Revival:

Penn returned to the music industry in the early 1990s. In 1992, she re-recorded "You Don't Love Me (No, No, No)" for producer Steely & Clevie, this time in a more contemporary dancehall style. The re-release proved to be a massive international success, reaching the top of the charts in several countries and cementing Penn's status as a significant figure in reggae music.
