D-A-D (band)
D-A-D (originally Disneyland After Dark) is a Danish rock band formed in 1982. The band's core lineup consists of Jesper Binzer (vocals/guitar), Jacob Binzer (guitar), Stig Pedersen (bass), and Laust Sonne (drums), who replaced Peter Lundholm Jensen in 1999. D-A-D is known for its eclectic mix of hard rock, punk, and country influences, as well as its energetic live performances and often humorous stage personas.
The band achieved significant commercial success in Scandinavia and parts of Europe, particularly during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Their breakthrough album, No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims, released in 1989, spawned several hit singles and established them as a major act.
D-A-D has released numerous studio albums, consistently touring and maintaining a dedicated fanbase over several decades. Their discography includes albums such as Call of the Wild (1986), Riskin' It All (1991), Helpyourselfish (1995), and A Prayer for the Loud (2019). The band's longevity is attributed to their consistent output, engaging live shows, and the enduring appeal of their unique musical style.
