William Roos (writer)

William Roos was an American writer, primarily known for his contributions to children's and young adult literature. He also wrote for television. He was born in New York City in 1911 and died in 1987.

Roos, sometimes collaborating with his wife Audrey Roos, penned numerous mystery novels, often featuring young protagonists. He also wrote under the pseudonyms "Kelley Roos" and "Audrey Kelley." Their work often involved suspenseful plots and engaging characters designed to appeal to a younger audience.

Some notable works include the "Mystery of the Vanishing Magician," and other mysteries published under the "Kelley Roos" name. Other works were co-authored with his wife Audrey Roos, and both individually and collaboratively wrote books for both juvenile and adult audiences. He also contributed to television scripts.
