Khvoasht
Khvoasht is a term from Thelema, a philosophical and religious law developed by Aleister Crowley. It refers to the principle of limitation, duality, and opposition, seen as necessary complements to the principle of Nuit, which represents infinite possibility and expansion. Khvoasht, in essence, represents the universe of manifestation, the world of form and limitation that allows for experience and self-awareness. It is not inherently evil but represents the boundaries within which the will can be exercised. It is the other half of the cosmic equation, contrasting with the unbound nature of Nuit. The interplay between Nuit and Khvoasht is central to Thelemic cosmology and understanding of existence.
