Harold Cooper (baseball)

Harold Cooper was an American professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1980 and 1981.

Cooper was drafted by the Cardinals in the 3rd round of the 1977 MLB draft. He played in the minor leagues for several years, eventually earning a call-up to the majors in 1980. He appeared in 14 games for the Cardinals that season, batting .250 with one home run. In 1981, he played in 10 games, hitting .111.

Following his brief MLB career, Cooper continued to play in the minor leagues for a few more seasons. He primarily played outfield, and was known for his speed and defensive abilities.
