Al Viola
Al Viola (1919-2007) was an American guitarist known primarily for his work as a session musician in Los Angeles. He was highly regarded for his versatility and expertise in a variety of musical styles, including jazz, pop, and classical guitar. Viola's career spanned several decades, during which he contributed to numerous recordings and film soundtracks.
Viola was a prolific studio musician, working with prominent artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Nat King Cole. He is often credited with playing guitar on Sinatra's iconic album September of My Years.
