Haynes House (Decherd, Tennessee)

The Haynes House is a historic house located in Decherd, Franklin County, Tennessee. Built circa 1848, it is a two-story brick residence in the Federal style, with later Greek Revival influences evident in its porch detailing. The house is significant for its association with early settlers and prominent residents of Decherd. It features brick laid in common bond, a low hipped roof, and a front porch supported by square columns. The house retains much of its original character and serves as a tangible reminder of the architectural and social history of the area. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
