CyberTracker (film)
CyberTracker is a 1994 science fiction action film directed by Richard Pepin and written by Robert Buckley. The film stars Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Jim Maniaci, and Stacie Foster.
The film is set in a dystopian future where cybernetic law enforcement units, called CyberTrackers, are used to apprehend criminals. These CyberTrackers are virtually indestructible androids programmed to eliminate threats. The plot revolves around Eric Phillips (Wilson), a former anti-CyberTracker activist, who is forced to fight back against a new, advanced CyberTracker model that has gone rogue and is targeting innocent people. Phillips must use his knowledge of the CyberTrackers to find their weakness and stop them before they cause widespread chaos.
CyberTracker is known for its low budget special effects and over-the-top action sequences. It spawned a sequel, CyberTracker 2, released in 1995, which featured a different cast and story. Both films are considered to be B-movies and have gained a cult following among fans of the genre.
