Eras (typeface)

Eras is a linear sans-serif typeface designed by Albert Boton and Albert Hollenstein for the Amsterdam-based type foundry, VGC (Visual Graphic Corporation). It was first released in 1969.

Eras is characterized by its forward-leaning design, creating a sense of speed and dynamism. The oblique cuts and subtly rounded corners contribute to its distinctive appearance. It is considered a display typeface, best suited for headlines, logos, and other applications where a strong visual impact is desired.
