Cliff Hill (baseball)
Cliff Hill (born February 19, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri) is a former professional baseball player. He played as a pitcher for the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball (MLB) for parts of the 1972 and 1973 seasons.
Hill was drafted by the Yankees in the 3rd round of the 1966 MLB draft. He spent several years in their minor league system before making his major league debut on September 16, 1972. During his brief MLB career, he appeared in a total of 11 games, pitching 16 2/3 innings. He recorded no wins or losses and had an earned run average (ERA) of 4.86.
Following his time with the Yankees, Hill continued to play in the minor leagues. His professional baseball career concluded in the mid-1970s. After retiring from playing, little publicly available information exists regarding his subsequent career or activities.
