Chuck Smith (baseball)

Chuck Smith is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He played from 1992 to 2001 for the Florida Marlins, Pittsburgh Pirates, Montreal Expos, and Boston Red Sox. A right-handed pitcher, Smith primarily served as a relief pitcher during his career. He was a member of the 1997 World Series champion Florida Marlins. His career statistics include a record of 16-21 with a 4.48 ERA in 287 games pitched. After his playing career, Smith pursued coaching, including time as a pitching coach in Minor League Baseball.
