Kevin Joyce (basketball)
Kevin Joyce (born June 7, 1951) is an American former professional basketball player. A 6'3" guard, he played college basketball for the University of South Carolina, where he was a standout performer.
Joyce was a member of the United States men's basketball team that won a controversial silver medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. The team lost a disputed final game against the Soviet Union.
Following his Olympic experience, Joyce was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the 1973 NBA draft. He played one season in the NBA with the Warriors (1973-74), averaging 2.5 points per game.
After his NBA career, Joyce played professionally in Europe.
