Jana Schneider (chess player)

Jana Schneider (born February 22, 2002) is a German chess player holding the titles of Woman Grandmaster (WGM) and International Master (IM).

Schneider achieved the Woman International Master (WIM) title in 2016. She earned the Woman Grandmaster title in 2017. She then received the International Master title in 2022.

She has represented Germany in various international team chess competitions, including the Women's Chess Olympiad and the European Women's Team Chess Championship.

Schneider has achieved success in numerous individual tournaments. Her consistent performance and rating progression have established her as a leading female chess player in Germany. She is known for her solid positional style and tactical awareness.
