Christmas Songs (Bad Religion EP)

Christmas Songs is an EP by the American punk rock band Bad Religion, released on October 29, 2013. It features punk rock interpretations of traditional Christmas carols. The EP was released through Epitaph Records, the band's long-time label.

The EP consists of eight tracks, seven of which are classic Christmas songs such as "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," "O Come, All Ye Faithful," and "Little Drummer Boy." The final track is a punk version of Bad Religion's own song, "American Jesus," retitled as "American Jesus (Christmas Version)."

Christmas Songs was met with mixed reviews. Some critics praised the band's energetic and irreverent take on holiday classics, while others found the arrangements repetitive or lacking in originality. Despite the mixed reception, the EP charted on the Billboard 200, reaching number 31. All proceeds from the sales of the EP were donated to charities. The EP is notable as a light-hearted departure for Bad Religion, a band known for their politically charged and often atheistic lyrics.
