Chris Houston (rugby league)
Chris Houston (born 26 November 1984) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a lock, second-row and prop.
He previously played for the Parramatta Eels, the Newcastle Knights and the Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League (NRL), and for the Widnes Vikings in the Super League.
Houston made his NRL debut for the Parramatta Eels in 2005. He joined the Newcastle Knights in 2008 and played there until 2012. After a season with the Penrith Panthers in 2013, he moved to the Widnes Vikings in 2014.
He represented the New South Wales Country team. Houston was known for his strong tackling and work rate.
