Carlos Trincão

Carlos Trincão is a Portuguese professional footballer who currently plays as a forward for Sporting CP, on loan from FC Barcelona. He is known for his dribbling skills, pace, and versatility in attacking positions, capable of playing on either wing or as a central attacking midfielder.

Trincão began his professional career with Braga B before being promoted to the first team, where he quickly established himself as a promising talent. His performances in the Primeira Liga attracted the attention of FC Barcelona, who signed him in 2020. While his time at Barcelona was marked by flashes of brilliance, he did not consistently secure a regular starting position.

In 2021, Trincão was loaned to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League. After his loan spell, he returned to Barcelona before being loaned to Sporting CP in 2022.

Trincão has also represented Portugal at various youth international levels and has earned caps for the senior national team. He is considered a promising prospect for the future of Portuguese football.
