Cal Thomas (American football)

Cal Thomas is a former American football player. He played defensive tackle for the St. Louis Cardinals in the National Football League (NFL) from 1969 to 1974. Thomas played college football at the University of Nebraska, where he was a member of the Cornhuskers teams that won national championships in 1970 and 1971. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the second round of the 1969 NFL Draft. His NFL career spanned six seasons, all with the Cardinals.
