William Greenwood (cricketer)

William Greenwood (born 21 March 1856, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Lancashire between 1877 and 1882. A right-handed batsman, Greenwood appeared in 17 first-class matches, scoring 134 runs with a highest score of 31. He also took one catch. His bowling style and other cricketing details, such as any club affiliations outside of Lancashire, are not readily available. His career was relatively brief and he did not achieve significant statistical success.
