İzel (singer)

İzel Çeliköz (born April 29, 1969) is a Turkish pop singer. She is best known mononymously as İzel.

Early Life and Career:

İzel was born in Istanbul, Turkey. Her musical journey began in her youth. She studied at Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory Turkish Music Department.

Musical Career:

İzel started her professional music career in the early 1990s. She initially gained recognition as part of the trio İzel-Çelik-Ercan, alongside Çelik Erişçi and Ercan Saatçi. The group achieved significant success before İzel pursued a solo career.
