Bulgak

Bulgak refers to Mikhail Bulgakov (1891-1940), a Russian writer, playwright, and theatre director of the Soviet era. He is considered one of the major writers of the 20th century, best known for his novels The Master and Margarita, Heart of a Dog, and The White Guard. His works are characterized by elements of satire, dark humor, fantasy, and social commentary, often reflecting the absurdities and repressions of life under the Soviet regime. Despite facing censorship and persecution during his lifetime, Bulgakov's works have achieved significant posthumous recognition and are widely read and studied today. His influence can be seen in literature, film, and theatre across the globe. He also wrote plays such as The Days of the Turbins and Zoya's Apartment.
