ATP Cup
The ATP Cup was an annual international outdoor hard court men's tennis tournament contested between national teams. It was held in Australia in January, prior to the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. The inaugural edition took place in 2020 and the tournament concluded in 2022, replaced by the United Cup in 2023.
The tournament format involved teams competing in a round-robin stage, followed by a knockout stage. Matches consisted of two singles rubbers and one doubles rubber. The ATP Cup awarded ATP rankings points and prize money. The event aimed to provide a team-based competition that allowed players to represent their countries and prepare for the Australian Open.
