Bob Graham (Tasmanian politician)
Bob Graham (born 1942) is an Australian politician who served as a Labor Member of the Tasmanian Legislative Council for Mersey from 1993 to 2011. Prior to entering politics, Graham worked as a farmer.
During his time in the Legislative Council, Graham was known for his focus on rural issues, agriculture, and environmental concerns, particularly those affecting the north-west coast of Tasmania. He participated in numerous parliamentary committees and inquiries dealing with these topics.
While he generally supported Labor Party principles, as an independent member of the Legislative Council, Graham often exercised his own judgment on legislative matters, contributing to cross-party consensus and sometimes voting against government proposals. He retired from the Legislative Council in 2011.
