Venetsiya

Venetsiya is the Russian transliteration of Venice, the capital of the Veneto region in northeastern Italy. It is a city renowned for its unique setting, built on a lagoon and characterized by canals, bridges, and Renaissance and Gothic architecture. As such, it is a popular tourist destination and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The name "Venetsiya" is commonly used in Russian-language contexts when referring to the city of Venice.
