The journal's scope encompasses a variety of disciplinary perspectives, including theology, biblical studies, history, sociology, missiology, and anthropology. Pneuma features articles that engage with classical pneumatological themes such as the person and work of the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts, divine healing, and the relationship between the Spirit and the church, as well as contemporary issues facing Spirit-empowered communities worldwide.
Pneuma is typically published quarterly and includes research articles, book reviews, and occasional symposia or special issues dedicated to specific themes or scholars. The journal aims to foster critical dialogue and advance scholarship within the field of pneumatology, engaging with both historical and contemporary expressions of Spirit-filled Christianity.
