Bob Davis (American football, born 1914)
Bob Davis (born October 18, 1914, died January 14, 2003) was an American football player. He played college football at Tennessee Technological University (then Tennessee Polytechnic Institute) and professionally in the National Football League (NFL).
Davis played primarily as a tackle in the NFL for four seasons, from 1937 to 1940. He began his career with the Cleveland Rams in 1937, then played for the Detroit Lions from 1938 to 1939. His final season was with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1940. Details of his individual performance statistics are limited. He was inducted into the Tennessee Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 1982.
