Blue (2009 film)

Blue is a 2009 Bollywood action-thriller film directed by Anthony D'Souza and produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Lara Dutta, and Zayed Khan in lead roles. It was distributed by Eros International.

The film is noted for its underwater action sequences and extensive filming in the Bahamas. The story revolves around a group of characters searching for treasure hidden in the depths of the ocean. Sagar (Sanjay Dutt) is pressured by Aarav (Akshay Kumar) to locate a sunken treasure that belongs to a mutual friend. Mona (Lara Dutta) provides diving expertise, while Nikki (Katrina Kaif) is introduced as Sagar's sister.

Blue was one of the most expensive Bollywood films produced at the time of its release. Despite the hype surrounding its visual effects and star cast, the film received mixed to negative reviews from critics and was a commercial failure at the box office. The film's soundtrack, composed by A. R. Rahman, was more positively received.
