Black Eye (film)
Black Eye is a 1974 American blaxploitation crime film directed by Jack Arnold and starring Fred Williamson.
The film follows Stone (played by Williamson), a Los Angeles-based private detective investigating the death of a former friend. His investigation leads him into a web of corruption, organized crime, and political intrigue involving a missing briefcase and a powerful, shadowy figure.
The film features elements common to the blaxploitation genre, including a strong, independent black protagonist, funk and soul music, and a focus on crime in urban communities. D'Urville Martin, Rosemary Forsyth, Larry D. Mann, and Teresa Graves also star.
