Rob Clerc

Rob Clerc (born January 28, 1955) is a Dutch former professional draughts player. He is a Grandmaster and won the Dutch National Championship in 1978 and 1979. Clerc also competed in several World Draughts Championships, with his best result being a shared 3rd place in 1980. He is known for his theoretical contributions to the game, particularly in the opening phase. After retiring from professional play, Clerc remained involved in the draughts community as an analyst and author.
