Bill Watson (cricketer)

Bill Watson (born William Richard Watson on 22 October 1931, died 27 February 2021) was an Australian cricketer who played first-class cricket for Victoria.

A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler, Watson played 26 first-class matches between 1954 and 1959. He scored 1182 runs at an average of 28.82, with a highest score of 156. He took one first-class wicket.

Watson's highest score of 156 came against Queensland in the 1956/57 season. He also served as a Victorian selector after his playing career ended.
