Bill Keating (American football)

William "Bill" Keating (born February 12, 1945) is a former American football player. A defensive lineman, Keating played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the Denver Broncos from 1967 to 1971 and for the Miami Dolphins in 1972.

Keating played college football at the University of Michigan, where he was a standout defensive player. He was drafted by the Broncos in the sixth round of the 1967 NFL Draft.

With the Broncos, Keating was a consistent contributor on the defensive line. He was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 1972, joining a team that would go on to achieve a perfect 17-0 season. While his playing time was limited due to an injury that hampered his season, he was a part of the Dolphins' Super Bowl VII championship team.

After his playing career, Keating worked in sales and marketing.
