Ahafo
Ahafo is one of the sixteen administrative regions of Ghana. It was carved out of the Brong Ahafo Region in 2019. Goaso is the capital of the Ahafo Region. The region is primarily agricultural, producing crops such as cocoa, plantain, and maize. Ahafo is further divided into six districts: Asunafo North Municipal, Asunafo South District, Asutifi North District, Asutifi South District, Tano North Municipal, and Tano South Municipal. The region is known for its relatively dense forest cover and its contribution to Ghana's agricultural output.
