Club 1872

Club 1872 is a supporters' organisation dedicated to Rangers Football Club. It was formed in 2016 by a merger of Rangers Supporters Trust (RST) and Rangers First, two pre-existing supporter groups. The name "Club 1872" references the year of Rangers' founding.

The organisation's primary aims are to acquire a significant shareholding in Rangers International Football Club PLC (RIFC PLC), the parent company of Rangers Football Club, and to represent the interests of Rangers supporters within the club's governance. This is achieved through fundraising activities, with the funds raised used to purchase shares in RIFC PLC.

Club 1872 provides a platform for individual supporters to collectively contribute to the financial stability and ownership structure of Rangers Football Club. It also seeks to foster a closer relationship between the club and its supporters. The organisation operates as a non-profit entity. Shareholding acquired is held in trust for the benefit of its members.
