Bill Barrett (outfielder)
William "Bill" Barrett (born August 11, 1950) is a former professional baseball outfielder. He played briefly in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Red Sox in 1972 and 1973.
Barrett was drafted by the Red Sox in the 1st round (24th overall) of the 1968 MLB June Amateur Draft.
He appeared in a total of 13 games for the Red Sox, recording 3 hits in 13 at-bats. He did not hit any home runs or record any RBIs. His batting average was .231. He played primarily in left field.
After his MLB career, Barrett continued to play in the minor leagues.
