Big Brother (British TV series) series 18
Big Brother 18 (also known as Big Brother: Groundbreakers) was the eighteenth and final series of the British reality television series Big Brother, broadcast on Channel 5 in 2017. It launched on 5 June 2017 and concluded on 24 July 2017, lasting for 50 days. Emma Willis returned as the main presenter, with Rylan Clark-Neal hosting Big Brother's Bit on the Side. The series was themed around "Groundbreakers" with producers claiming to have introduced twists and turns that would break new ground in the show's history.
The premise remained largely the same as previous series, featuring a group of housemates living together in a specially constructed house, isolated from the outside world and under constant surveillance. Housemates competed in challenges to win shopping budgets and avoid nominations for eviction. The public voted to evict housemates, and the last remaining housemate was declared the winner, receiving a cash prize.
The series featured several twists, including the introduction of "second chance" housemates and surprise nominations. The winner of Big Brother 18 was Isabelle Warburton.
This was the final series of Big Brother to air on Channel 5.
