Molly Bee
Molly Bee (born Molly Gene Beachboard, August 18, 1939 – February 7, 2009) was an American country music singer and actress. She achieved prominence as a teenager in the 1950s, primarily through her appearances on television, including The Pinky Lee Show, Town Hall Party, and Hometown Jamboree.
Bee's career began at a young age, and she quickly gained a devoted following due to her vocal talents and stage presence. She recorded several albums and singles, achieving chart success with songs like "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" and "5, 10, 15 Hours".
Beyond her musical career, Bee also pursued acting roles in film and television. She made appearances in shows such as The Ford Show, Starring Tennessee Ernie Ford and the film Chartroose Caboose.
In later years, Bee continued to perform and remained an active figure in the country music community. She passed away in 2009 from complications related to cancer. She is remembered for her contributions to country music and her youthful energy that captivated audiences during the early years of television.
