Beto (footballer, born 1987)
Beto, full name Alberto Antunes Botelho, (born 30 March 1987) is a Portuguese professional footballer who primarily plays as a goalkeeper.
Beto began his professional career in Portugal, representing clubs such as Leixões S.C. and S.C. Braga. During his time with Braga, he achieved notable success, including winning the UEFA Europa League runner-up medal in 2011. He also played for CFR Cluj in Romania.
Beto is known for his shot-stopping ability and commanding presence in the penalty area. He has represented the Portuguese national team at various levels, including senior international appearances.
