Nguyễn Văn Thắng (politician)

Nguyễn Văn Thắng is a Vietnamese politician. He has held various positions within the Vietnamese government and Communist Party of Vietnam. He currently serves as the Minister of Transport of Vietnam, a position he assumed in January 2023.

Prior to his ministerial appointment, Nguyễn Văn Thắng served as the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Điện Biên Province. He also previously held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), one of Vietnam's largest banks. His career reflects a combination of experience in both the financial sector and political administration.
