Eto Mori

Eto Mori (森 絵都, Mori Eto, born January 2, 1968) is a Japanese author of children's literature and young adult fiction. She is known for her sensitive portrayals of adolescence and coming-of-age themes, often exploring complex social issues and emotional growth.

Mori was born in Tokyo, Japan. She began writing in her early twenties, and her debut novel リズム (Rhythm) was published in 1990.

Mori has received numerous prestigious awards for her work, including the Naoki Prize for Colorful (2005), which was later adapted into an animated film. Other notable works include Diving!!, which was adapted into a live-action film and a television drama, and Kaze ni Maiagaru Vinyl Sheet (A Vinyl Sheet Soaring in the Wind), winner of the Sankei Children's Publishing Cultural Award.
